Host Foundation

WKCF

The Western Kansas Community Foundation (WKCF) began in 1996 and has been working ever since to connect great programs and charities with donors who care.  The Foundation is governed and administered by a volunteer board of directors and is designed to accommodate donor wishes, special concerns and interests.

Representing the broadest charitable interests of its donors, WKCF seeks to improve all aspects of the quality of life in the 15 counties of southwest Kansas.  It does this in part by serving as the host in a host-affiliate relationship with the Wichita County Community Foundation; providing back office and administrative support. In addition to grants made from donor funds, the WKCF's pool of unrestricted funds is utilized for granting three times per year and is used to award competitive, high-impact grants to support nonprofit organizations and charitable entities across the 15 counties WKCF serves.

We encourage you to learn more about Western Kansas Community Foundation.  From the donor making a one-time gift, to those interested in leaving a legacy, or to learn more about supporting the Wichita County Community Foundation, the WKCF's mission to "enrich western Kansas life through philanthropy, collaboration and leadership" guides our commitment to serve donors and support western Kansas.
