Grants at Wichita County Community Foundation
At the Wichita County Community Foundation, we invest in projects that strengthen our communities, support local organizations, and improve quality of life across Wichita County. Our competitive grant program is offered through three annual grant cycles, each focused on a specific area of community impact.
Eligible nonprofit organizations, schools, and public entities are encouraged to apply.
2026 Grant Cycles
Winter Grant Cycle
Community Development & Infrastructure
Application Window: January 1st – February 15th
Awards Announced: March 20th
Funding priorities include:
- Community spaces & beautification projects
- Facility improvements & equipment needs
- Public Safety & accessibility upgrades


Spring Grant Cycle
Education & Youth
Application Window: April 1st – May 15th
Awards Announced: June 20th
Funding priorities include:
- Classroom innovation and educational enrichment
- Youth programs and extracurricular opportunities
- Early learning initiatives and career readiness
Summer Grant Cycle
Health, Wellness, & Quality of Life
Application Window: July 1st – August 15th
Awards Announced: September 20th
Funding priorities include:
- Health and wellness initiatives
- Food security and basic needs support
- Arts, culture, and community connection

The Foundation restricts its support to 501(c)3 or organizations/groups or the government equivalent, in Wichita County. The Foundation does not make grants to individuals, political purposes, to retire indebtedness (purchases already made or projects already completed) or for payment of interest or taxes.
