Liz was born and raised in Hugoton, KS and moved to Garden City in the fall of 1999 to attend Garden City Community College.  After graduating with an Associate of Science degree in 2001, Liz completed her Bachelor's degree in Business & Leadership from Fort Hays State University in 2003.

An entrepreneur at heart, Liz serves as CEO of Epitome Enterprises, a business that facilitates community development, organizational strategic planning, and legislative affairs. Additionally, she is a co-owner of "The Corner on Main" gift shop in downtown Garden City.

Liz spent much of the last decade traveling Kansas as the Program Director for the Leadership Kansas program.  She is an active volunteer for the Kansas Sampler Foundation and is a current trustee for the Sunflower Foundation Board.  When not on the road, Liz enjoys golfing, walking, and reading.

Having previously served two terms on the WKCF Board, the foundation and its mission are near and dear to Liz and she is thrilled to have this opportunity to give back to her community and the southwest Kansas region in her role as Operations Director.
